The Innovationation Exhibition
The key highlight for this year-long celebration of by the Government's 25 years of infocomm development in Singapore is a public exhibition, called Innovationation, to be held from 10 to 15 October at the Singapore Expo. Innovationation Exhibition is a hands-on interactive experience that tells the story of how technology has directly influenced our lives and our nation. You will get to travel through time to catch a glimpse of tomorrow´s technology and the exciting developments on the horizon. Through the creative use of cutting-edge technology, the interactive displays and technology showcases will spark visitors´ interest in the story of technology; how technology evolves, what were the breakthroughs, the inspirations behind them and how it has transformed our lives. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said "We must create digital opportunities for all Singaporeans, and never allow a digital divide in our society," as he opened the doors to the exhibition. Entry to the exhibition, talks and workshops is FREE - open to the public October 11 – 15, 2006, Open every day between 10am and 8pm.

What´s playing there? At the Innovationation Exhibition you can experience technologies from the past, present and the future. Key industry players including Apple, Cisco, HP, IBM, NCS, Microsoft, MediaCorp, Sybase, StarHub and many more will be showcasing how technology will shape areas like education, healthcare, logistics, and even our personal communications and work space. The Talks & Workshops Hear from Distinguished Infocomm speakers like Ms Mary Ann Davidson, Chief Security Officer at Oracle Corp; and IBM Fellow and its Chief Technologists, Dr Bernard Meyerson. Besides the infocomm professionals, workshops for the public are also organised. These include podcasting and video productions, and even talks on how you can set up an online business and the enigmatic world of animations and computer games of today. How to Register?
