Crown Prince going for makeover Crown Prince Hotel At Orchard is to undergo an $80 million makeover. After the revamp, it will sport a modern glass frontage and feature a gallery of flagship luxury stores in the league of Louis Vuitton, as it more than doubles the amount of retail space on offer at the hotel-front access. The lettable area at the current retail podium will increase from 4,000 sq m to 9,000 sq m. The 311 hotel rooms which is located on levels five to eleven will also be updated. Work will start in January 2009 and is due to be completed in the third quarter of that year. The timing will coincide with the completion of the Orchard Turn mall and the Casino "integrated resort" at Marina Bay.

Orchard Turn Retail Mall The Orchard Turn which marks the gateway to Orchard Road, is planned for a signature retail development that is integrated with the Orchard MRT Station and seamlessly connected to the surrounding developments.
