Postal District
Singapore is divided in 83 Postal District or Service Sector. About half of the homes in Singapore are located in the seven most populated sectors. These are Sector 52 (Tampines/Simei), Sector 53 (Hougang/Serangoon /Yio Chu Kang), Sector 56 (Ang Mo Kio), Sector 46 (Bedok/Chai Chee), Sector 73 (Woodlands/Sembawang), Sector 76 (Yishun) and Sector 64 (Jurong West). Sector 04 (Raffles Place) you will find the most banks. Most shops are located in Sector 23 (Orchard Road). Sector 06 (Shenton Way) is deserted after 5pm and on the weekends as most highrise office buildings are located. Singapore's Fountain of Wealth is hidden in Sector 03 (Marina).
